Learning Analytic Pte Ltd ( LAPL) provides its service to you directly or through it’s brands and websites such as Math2Shine.Com and Dancingmath.com etc. It is mandatory to accept these Terms of Service to continue to use our Services. These services are rendered directly from LAPL or it’s brands, websites, subsidiaries and branches. LAPL Learning knows that you care how information about you is used and shared, and we appreciate your trust that we will do so carefully and sensibly. This notice describes our privacy policy.
- What personally identifiable information does LAPL collect?
LAPL collects information in several ways from different parts of the service delivery process.Personal information is gathered at the time of user registeration. Depending on your account type and LAPL website, it may ask for your name, e-mail address, date of birth, country of residence and/or additional information. We may also ask you to choose a username and password. We are collecting the information that is deemed to be used in delivering you an effective and useful service.In addition to the information collected at the time of registeration, we may ask you for personal information at other times, such as when you contact our technical support team, register for attending a workshop or subsribe to our on line newsletter and resources. Furthermore, when you send e-mail, user surveys, or other communication to LAPL , we may retain those communications in order to process your inquiries, respond to your requests, improve our services and update you about our offerings. - How does LAPL Learning use registration and worksheet / test practice data ?
LAPL goals in collecting personal information are to provide you, the user, with a customized experience on our application solution with a high level of technical support.As part of the product offering, you would be using our software. Our software would capture all your learning parameters such as skills practice, duration of such practice, challenges encountered during practice etc. All your practice data in LAPL system is used to create reports and analytics for your improvement. LAPL has the sole right to maintain and manage this data in it’s system. This data may be use in publishing research reports or LAPL marketing activities.LAPL may analyze it’s users data to obtain their interests, strength and weakness and learning behaviour based on the information provided to us upon registration, from our server log files, or from surveys. We do this to better understand and serve our users. For instance, this information often gives us ideas for improving our products or identify content errors. This research is compiled and analyzed on an aggregated basis. - Who is collecting information?
When you are on an LAPL or it’s affiliates / partner/ brand website and are asked for personal information, you are sharing that information with LAPL. LAPL website and applications may be maintained by LAPL or any company other than LAPL to whom this work is outsourced. - With whom does LAPL share my information?
As a rule, LAPL will not disclose any of your personally identifiable information except when we have your permission or under special circumstances, such as when we believe in good faith that the law requires it or under the circumstances described below. The following describes some of the reasons that your information may be disclosed.Third Party Companies : LAPL will never disclose your personal information to other third part companies, unless it is specifically described to you prior to data collection or prior to transferring the data. If personally identifying data about you will be shared, we will tell you before we collect or transfer the data.If LAPL becomes involved in a merger, acquisition, or any form of sale of some or all of its assets, we will provide notice before personal information is transferred.LAPL operates multiple brands and websites ( example : math2shine.com and dancing math.com ). There may be other websites and brands of LAPL in future. LAPL may share personal data of one website or brand with other website or brand for the benefit of users.Third Party Data & Data in the Aggregate. Under confidentiality agreements, LAPL may match user information with third party data. Also, LAPL discloses aggregated user statistics (for example, 28% of our users are from Singapore and excel more than 90% in Maths ) in order to describe our services to current and prospective customers, partners and other third parties, and for other lawful purposes.We may use a user data in getting the user rank analysis in various skills.

- What types of data usage LAPL does?
LAPL may, from time to time, send you e-mail regarding our products and services. Only LAPL or it’s brands or business units will send you these direct mailings. You can choose not to receive these e-mails by clicking the unsubscribe link in any e-mail.LAPL does not sell or rent user information to anyone. We will notify you at the time of data collection or transfer if your data will be shared with a third party and you will always have the option of not permitting the transfer. If you do not wish to allow your data to be shared, you can choose not to use a particular service.Please note that even after a user is cancelled or deactivated from the system, user and their learning data would remain in the system. We would only use this data for aggregate analysis. - What is LAPL password policy
If you have forgotten your password, go to the password request form. A new password will be sent to the e-mail address you specified during registration. For all other problems logging into LAPL services, please contact technical support for that service. - What security precautions are in place to protect the loss, misuse, or alteration of my information?
Your registered accounts are password-protected so that you and only you have access to any personal information you have entered in your account. You may edit your account information at any time by logging into your account and clicking the Account or Profile link.We take appropriate security measures to protect against unauthorized access to or unauthorized alteration, disclosure, or destruction of data. These include internal reviews of our data collection, storage, and processing practices and security measures, as well as physical security measures to guard against unauthorized access to systems where we store personal data.For your protection, remember to log out of all accounts before closing your browser. There is a log out link available on most LAPL pages. After logging out, make sure to close all browser windows. LAPL Learning does not ask a child under age 13 for more personal information, as a condition of participation, than is reasonably necessary to participate in a given activity. LAPL Learning does not gather information on the ages of our users and will never knowingly share personally identifying information about users who are under the age of 13 with business partners or other third parties. - What else should I know about my privacy?
Please keep in mind that whenever you voluntarily disclose personal information online (for example on message boards, through e-mail, or in chat areas) that information can be collected and used by others. In short, if you post personal information online that is accessible to the public, you may receive unsolicited messages from other parties in return.Some LAPL Learning services offer the option to show your name and e-mail address in various capacities. If you decide to show your name and e-mail address, you are making it available to others over the Internet. (In particular, if you have chosen to have your name displayed on your Quia activity pages and you add one of your activities to the Quia shared activities area, your name will appear in the listing of activities. Remember that the choice of displaying your name and e-mail address on the Quia website is entirely up to you. By publishing your name and e-mail address, you may receive correspondence from other Quia users. For example, someone may send you an e-mail to let you know that your activity was helpful, or to point out errors in your activity. Many Quia users appreciate the opportunity to receive this kind of feedback; however, the choice to include this information is yours.)Additionally, some LAPL Learning services offer the ability to build custom Web pages or customize the content on a Web page. Just like any other Web-page building tool, the pages thus created can be accessed by anyone over the Internet.
